Age and truthful answers
Applying requires being 18+. The name, contact info, and English level you list all need to check out — discover later that any of it was made up, and any offer built on top of it can be withdrawn, no matter how many shifts have already happened.
Reading the published numbers correctly
Grade bands and the monthly-average figure scattered across this site come straight from what our 120+ current texters were actually paid — history, not a pledge made to you personally. What lands in your own account tracks your grade, the shifts you actually log, and how well your chats go, so none of these figures is locked in ahead of time for you specifically.
How review plays out
Only about 1 application in 9 makes it past this stage, and that's simple arithmetic, not a verdict on your character. The deciding factor is how naturally a short practice conversation goes, never how the résumé looks on paper. We can turn down an application, halt a training track midway, or shut a slot entirely, and we don't owe anyone a reason.
Independent contractor, never a fee
Everyone joins as an independent contractor rather than a payroll employee — no fixed salary, no benefits package attached, and whatever taxes your earnings trigger are yours to sort out under your own country's rules. Applying costs nothing, training costs nothing, and reaching a paid shift costs nothing; anyone claiming to represent F5Chat while asking you for money is impersonating us.
